Whether this is your first tiny companion or you have made one yourself, start with the path that feels like you.
A pet is one transparent PNG or WebP image containing a grid of small animation frames. The complete file may look like lots of tiny pictures, but compatible pet experiences read those frames as movement, moods and actions.
Keep the whole image intact. Cropping out one frame stops it behaving like an animated pet.
Wander through Pet Parade for a playful view, or use the Grid to search and sort. Open a pet to see its creator, personality, licence, votes, downloads and reviewer-confirmed similar companions.
When this button appears, it opens the pet's shared page in ChatGPT. Sign in if asked and follow ChatGPT's on-screen prompt to add the cloud copy. Availability and wording may vary by account.
Sign in to save the original PNG or WebP. Keep the sheet unchanged and use it when a compatible pet picker offers an upload or import option, or keep it as your own backup.
If you are unsure about a file, place it in Pet Doctor. The check happens on your device and can repair common sizing, transparency and file-weight problems before you use it.
Browse publicly. Sign in only when you want to download or share.
Pet Doctor previews the animation grid, checks transparency and file size, and prepares a compatible copy when it can safely repair the problem. Nothing is submitted at this stage.
Add a clear name, short introduction, creator credit and up to five moods. Only submit work you created or have explicit permission to share. Your licence tells visitors whether the pet is for personal use or can be remixed.
If ChatGPT has created a sharepet link for the same character, add it so visitors can adopt an editable cloud copy.
Your pet appears to you immediately as a private preview. Only you and authorised administrators can see it until a reviewer checks the format, attribution and content. Once approved, it joins the public collection and Parade.
